Houghton County Courthouse

The historic twin cities of Houghton and Hancock are home to Michigan Technological University. Great restaurants, super kid's playground and beach, waterfront park, gift and antique shops, 2 great microbreweries. Visit the rock and gem museum at MTU or take a copper mine tour. Ski hill in town, fantastic Nordic cross country ski trails. Also snowmobile rentals and trails.
