I received my returned deposit today, thanks for that, when are you going to be taking bookings for next year, I would like to make another reservation. I wanted to let you know that we had the best time at Keweenaw, loved every moment and could have stayed forever. I also want to compliment you on the condition and cleanliness of the house, everything there was top notch and I was amazed and impressed by all the books, games, kitchen appliances, extra bedding etc, you’ve done a fabulous job, we couldn’t have asked for more. My daughter told me she’d only leave if I promised her we’d come back next year, that’s quite a compliment seeing as she’s 17 and tries to hang out with us as little as possible. The wildlife we saw there was awesome. I truly thank you for allowing us to bring our dogs, they thought they’d died and gone to heaven. Thanks for everything and I hope to hear from you soon as we can’t wait to return. L.S.
We just arrived home from our vacation and wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your property. Everything was perfect. We found ourselves having difficulty leaving the farm for other activities. The dogs tried to convince us to stay forever, but they had to settle for an opportunity to someday return. Going to bed with a blanket of stars overhead and waking up to deer grazing in the backyard are luxuries not experienced in Cleveland. Lisa P.
We were able to watch a bobcat saunter through your back field one evening and several eagles around the pond in the mornings. D.H.
We found the house a perfect oasis and would recommend it highly to anyone who wants an ideal base camp to explore the Keweenaw Peninsula. Rick
Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at your Keweenaw home. Watching the deer in the morning from the deck and then watching for shooting stars at night was big fun. The weather was near perfect all the while we were there so we were able to enjoy the great outdoors. What a great place to get away from it all... R.K.
Just dropping you an e-mail to thank you for letting us stay at your place in the Keweenaw. We had a great time, even though it was pretty hot that week. We had some pretty good meals at the Pilgrim River Restaurant in Chassell and the Harbor Haus in Copper Harbor. Also, with the warm weather we went swimming in Lake Superior a couple of times. Staying at your place was very relaxing and private. Enjoyed the pond, all the stars at night and a few good thunderstorms. Thanks, again. M.K.

Just a quick note to let you know we very much enjoyed the home and property. We especially liked sitting on the deck, canoeing and "Playing" in the pond, and your skylight over the bed. We also appreciated the fact that we only did need to bring food to make the visit complete. Your cleaning and grounds-person do a great job! Our dogs have never had the chance to roam a large parcel or play in water and they didn't want to leave. As we were packing the car, one actually started walking down the driveway and refused to come back! D. P.

We really enjoyed staying at your house. It is so pretty to watch the sun set over the hills.I enjoyed walking your trails and the peace and quiet. The stars are so bright at night. I'm glad that we were able to rent it for a few days. I wish we could have stayed longer. B.B.
We did have a great time. We loved the farm and the house. Very peaceful and great views in every direction. The stars through the skylight over the bed were a real highlight.
The house was in great shape and everything worked fine. My wife loved the claw-foot bath tub upstairs and she said you should mention it on your web site.

We just returned from our week at your place. I wanted to report that we enjoyed our stay a great deal! What a marvelous spread you have up there. The weather was perfect (and there were no bugs!) and we had a number of really nice day trips (my favorite was the beach at McLain State Park!). Time at the cottage was lovely. Just wanted to let you know we had a fantastic time at your home. It was absolutely beautiful there with the views. We had a wonderful time at the house! It's so great. The house has such a comfortable feel that we really had a relaxing vacation (just what we needed). Hope you're not retiring too soon, because we'd love to go back again!! Can't think of any suggestions, everything was perfect!
We had a wonderful time! Your house and property are beautiful. You were right, everything that we needed was right there at the house. We did not end up using the hot tub at all-- it was just such a beautiful and warm week that we spent the majority of the time enjoying the outdoors! We used some of your hiking guide books to pick out a couple of spots we had not seen before. We had fun fishing in the pond- we caught 3 trout. J.L
